The user grabs the large, thick black hand grip at the end of the lever arm and can then practice any arm wrestling move – the toproll, the hook, the press, the posting toproll, the shoulder roll, or any other move you can come up with – using real heavy-duty resistance! The lever arm is not locked into a “left to right” fixed plane; instead, it is freely moveable and allows you to train at any angle! 08-05-2008, 8:30 AM EIYC.com Joined on 11-18-2005 Posts 46 Re: Three New, Revolutionary Armwrestling Training Devices to be Unveiled This October The EXTREME Arm Wrestling Machine should be available in October of this year.  I've been playing with it a lot lately, and it is remarkably similar to real arm wrestling matches.  Another great thing is that you will quickly figure out where your weak areas are and will be able to train those areas easily.  For instance, I put some weight on there and was practicing my toproll.  I noticed that about halfway through the movement, I get "stuck" against the weight and have to shift my body to finish the rest of the rep.  This caused me to realize that my technique was off and that, if I just shifted my weight differently and changed my body position at the start of the match, I would be able to exert much more force.  In less than two weeks, my technique is MUCH improved on the toproll - now I've just got to keep practicing so that muscle memory kicks in.  Even better, I've noticed that my overall sidepressure strength has already increased quite a bit.  Another area where I've already increased my strength a great deal is in the losing position.  It used to be that I would have a difficult time coming back from a losing position, especially when I am in a toproll and so is my opponent.  So I just set the lever arm so that it was at a 45-degree angle in the losing position and started experimenting with various techniques and body positions to figure out how to use my body to generate the maximum possible force.  Again just by shifting my body and figuring out the best way to pull, I was able to increase the weight I can use by about 30%!  www.eiyc.com    Report

No. But for those who do not have a training partner will benefit GREATLY using this machine. And even those who do have a training partner will benefit tremendously by using our machine - you will learn more about where to position your body for maximum leverage, you can strengthen those parts of the pull where you are weak, you can easily do multiple reps against constant resistance, and you can practice starting explosively (something that partners usually do not like for you to do, as it rips their arm sideways and can damage their ligaments). In summary, this machine will truly allow you to train in a way that was never before possible and become a significantly better and more effective arm wrestler in a short period of time.  www.eiyc.com    Report

08-15-2008, 10:34 AM Fredhead Joined on 08-15-2008 Posts 2 Re: Three New, Revolutionary Armwrestling Training Devices to be Unveiled This October That arm wrestling machine looks cool, however I have one question.  From the way the pulley is mounted in the frame, how can you adjust it so that the load pulls in directions other than side-to-side, in other words, how would you adjust the pulley so that it pulls the load to simulate back pressure, or at a 45 degree angle which is more like an actual match than side-to-side?  Do you have any picutres of it adjusted to pull at a 45 degree angle towards you, or to simulate back-pressure. 08-16-2008, 7:14 AM EIYC.com Joined on 11-18-2005 Posts 46 Re: Three New, Revolutionary Armwrestling Training Devices to be Unveiled This October Thanks for your question.  The EXTREME Arm Wrestling Machine, as currently configured, provides only sidepressure.  While you can move the Lever Arm front to back, the Machine's initial design won't provide backpressure.  We are, however, working on a simple add-on that attaches to the Machine that will add a backpressure component.  Backpressure Add-On The Lever Arm on the EXTREME Arm Wrestling Machine is fully detachable.  The "backpressure add-on" will be a new Lever Arm, and it will be both inexpensive and fully compatible with the current design of the EXTREME Arm Wrestling Machine.  In other words, the forthcoming "backpressure add-on" will exert two independent and fully-adjustable forces on your arm - back pressure and sidepressure.  This add-on will not be available when the EXTREME Arm Wrestling Machine first becomes available for sale in October, but it will be available within a few months after that (we want to test several possible designs).  It will also be fully compatible with all EXTREME Arm Wrestling Machines, so that if you purchase before the "backpressure add-on" becomes available you can just get the add-on later and slide it right onto your machine.  www.eiyc.com    Report

Thanks for your question.  The EXTREME Arm Wrestling Machine will begin shipping the last week of October.  Within 48 hours, you will be able to pre-order through our website (link to come).  As far as the price, it will depend how you buy it.  You can buy it in one of two ways:  (1) buy the entire machine at one time (and get a price break); or (2) buy an EXTREME Eliminator Table and then separately buy the Pulley Attachment (the Machine is made up of these two parts which, when combined, form the entire Machine).  If you purchase the entire Machine at once, you get a nice price break - the price is $399 plus s/h.  If you opt for option #2 above and split your purchases up, you can buy the EXTREME Eliminator Table for $249 plus s/h (for a limited time only, at which time the price will then rise to $279) and then the Pulley Attachment separately for $199 plus s/h.  The second option allows you to split your purchase in two "chunks" that you can spread over time.  That way you don't have as big of an out-of-pocket expense initially.  Please let me know if you have any other questions.  www.eiyc.com    Report

09-01-2008, 7:13 PM EIYC.com Joined on 11-18-2005 Posts 46 Re: Three New, Revolutionary Armwrestling Training Devices to be Unveiled This October Hi Ken, We discontinued the old "Training System" for two primary reasons.  First, no one seemed to want to buy it.  Since there was little interest, it made it much easier to discontinue.  Second, it was just not adjustable enough.  The problem was that you had to really "load up" the bands before getting on the table.  This significantly decreased the versatility of the equipment.  Our new Machine is far more versatile and is far and away much more effective, and it delivers much better results.      www.eiyc.com    Report

10-25-2008, 6:13 PM EIYC.com Joined on 11-18-2005 Posts 46 Re: Three New, Revolutionary Armwrestling Training Devices to be Unveiled This October Thanks for the question.  As for the backpressure attachment, it will likely be several months before it is available for purchase.  At this point in time, we are still working on several different designs.  Each time we come up with a design, we have to make a prototype.  Each prototype can take significant time to complete.  As we are testing several different designs and each would need improvements before it could be sold to the public, it will take some time to get it "just right."  The bottom line is that we are working hard to make the backpressure add-on, which is actually an entirely new lever arm, as good as it can possibly be and unfortunately this process takes quite a bit of time.  This is actually something I've been devoting a lot of time to lately and is why I likely won't have time to post videos until next weekend.  I do anticipate being able to post videos next weekend, though, and will be sure to post here as soon as they are uploaded.    www.eiyc.com    Report

10-25-2008, 6:19 PM EIYC.com Joined on 11-18-2005 Posts 46 Re: Three New, Revolutionary Armwrestling Training Devices to be Unveiled This October I forgot to mention in my last post that this is one heavy-duty piece of equipment.  The machine itself weighs about 140 pounds - and that is before you even add any weights.  As I previously posted, the EXTREME Arm Wrestling Machine is actually a two-in-one device:  If you take off the pulley attachment, then it becomes a super-heavy duty arm wrestling table.  The table itself (without the pulley attachment) weighs almost 90 pounds.  The table has padding on the side so that your chest is not bruised from pressing up against it.  It also has side supports between the table's legs for extra stability and is made of heavy gauge metal.  Within one week, you will be able to purchase the Extreme Eliminator Table separately.  This way, if you don't have the money to purchase the entire machine right now, you can still buy a heavy duty table and can just buy the pulley add-on at a later time (which will also be sold separately).  Finally, the first EXTREME Arm Wrestling Machines will begin shipping on Tuesday of this week.  www.eiyc.com    Report
